Auditioning – do I need coaching or preparation?
We often observe situations where, during an audition, the usual things suddenly don't work out so easily and smoothly. You get a completely different impression of yourself and your own voice.
We regularly meet singers who are insufficiently prepared for the audition situation or to whom the requirements of an agency or a theater or a production are more or less unknown and seem confusing. Completed singing training often does not provide sufficient experience in working with directors. Especially today there are many directors from the field of spoken theater who place greater demands and challenges on the acting performances. In addition, there are communication problems, especially with foreign artists. Great disappointments and often rejections from agencies and theaters are also inevitable for the artists in advance.
We offer interested singers the opportunity to prepare for further auditions or for the first roles in their first engagements with our coaching as part of the agency auditions as well as in individual lessons.
